Getting Started
So you have bought your Angora bunny , become
hooked, the next step is attend a show where you can meet other like minded people, share
tips and advice, and see a whole array of Angoras shown in their prime by club
members. In order to show the Angora in the UK you need to join the BRC, British Rabbit Council. All
rabbits are registerd with the BRC by means of their ring number. A ring is placed
on their legs by the breeder and that ring's number registered with the BRC. You
must first transfer that number to your name before you can begin to show your
rabbit. You should also join the National Angora Club for just £4 you will receive
an annual yearbook stuffed with information, history top tips and breeder contacts, well
worth every penny. The Angora fraternity are a very friendly, happy crowd,
competition is keen but still regarded as fun.
