Other breeds in the Caviary.

This young lady is a Senna baby.  A sweet little Merino sow who has a lovely shape and coat. Hopefully she will make it to the shows.

I  had my first Cavies back in 1977, they were two solid Golds, a Sheltie and a Coronet called Dusty and Sweep that I bought from Mr and Mrs Dance of the famous Greensprings Stud.   I saw Mrs. Dance grooming out the most extraordinary Sheltie at the Ealing show on a giant board, it’s coat must have been at least 18 – 20 inches long, I was totally hooked and wanted to produce something that amazing.

2009

I saw this lovely lad On the Website of the famous Eternitys' Caviary in Sweden and was thrilled to hear Liz was coming to England for the Big Bradford show and could bring him over for me.

Eternity's Sanzad

I have called him Dusty after my very first G-Pig a gold Coronet.

Liz also brought me Mosaiques Miss Pretty, a pretty little Sheltie Sow from the Mosaiques Caviary in Sweden, thank you Liz !

Miss-P is in pig and should be due March 2009 to Parsley my Millenium Plus Alpaca boar.  Peruvian Alpaca carriers are expected.

I loved the lemon brindling on her face.

I saw this lad on Keynsham Caviary's Website and loved his colouring and Markings so have added him to my Sheltie/Coronet Team. He has a lovely Ganderland girlfriend.. more later....

Senna

Ganderland Sensation

This Merino lad has joined the team from Caroline Creese of Ganderland Caviary.  When I got him home and out of the box my first word was Sensational... so I gave him that name.  He is a stunner .... thank you Caroline !  He is already in with two Texel sows, Ganderland Pomander and Ganderland Pot Pourri so fingers crossed he will pass on his attributes.

Senna

Also part of the clan this little Texel girl " Grace"  bought from Celtic Cavies she is sired by an Alpaca so will go into my Alpaca colony.  Although she scratched her shoulders and chewed a bit so cant be shown she has a lovely thick spongy coat.

Grace is currently co-habiting with Parsley.
