'CAVIES' Magazine

This magazine is published monthly by activists within the Cavy Fancy in the UK and will be of great interest to those wanting information of forthcoming cavy shows in the UK, and reports of shows which have taken place. The magazine also includes other information about cavies (see below) and is available by subscription only.
The magazine usually runs to about 40 A4 pages, including B & W photos, the main contents include:

* Results of shows in the UK, including the judge's comments
* Schedules for forthcoming shows & a calendar of shows in future months
* Articles by cavy breeders / judges on matters of interest
* Focuses on particular breeds of cavy
* ‘What’s in the shed’ articles where a prominent breeder is visited and their cavies and methods described.
* ‘Mette The Vette’ - articles on cavy health problems very well written by a vet with a strong interest in Cavies.
* Letters to the editor
* Addresses of cavy breed club in the UK
* Last but not least advertisements from breeders, suppliers and gift shops etc.

Outside the EEC the magazine is sent by surface mail (Airmail by arrangement) - allow approx. 4 weeks for delivery.

The magazine appears about the 8th of each month, 12 months of the year. The subscription secretary is:
