Brulee at 12 weeks

 

 

 

 

Brulee has probably the best coat I have ever produced. It is so easy care, silky and dense. Sadly she cant be shown as she is a Vienna carrier and has a white splodge on her nose. Vienna is the gene that creates Blue eyed whites. When only one BEW gene is present the rabbits come out with white markings, some with a lot of white and some with a splodge here and there.  This makes the Vienna carriers easy to spot in a litter. I am hoping to produce solid colours with the coat and type of Brulee in later generations through filtering out the BEW gene. 

 

Brulee just has everything, coat, furnishings, lovely round body with a short high back..  why does it always go like that ???   She will be a fabulous brood doe however.
